Medical Assesment of Mayella Violet Ewell's Injuries

Mayella had bruises and other injuries on her face, neck, and arms. She had a black right eye, and other bruises concentrated on the right side of her face. From this evidence, we can infer that her attacker was predominantly left-handed. She had scratches and bruises all the way around her neck indicating her attacker attempted to choke/strangle her most likely using two hands. She had damage to her arms giving us the conclusion that she was forcefully held down throughout the attack.
