Mayella's injuries

Court Artist: Diagram of Injuries and Physician's Report

As you can see in my diagram I showed a graphic display of all injuries described on Mayella’s face and neck. I put quotes with their corresponding injuries. On her neck you can see clear fingerprints implying that someone had grabbed her to hold her down. She had a small throat so this would not be difficult for someone with the intention of hurting her. Her eye was blackened by the time somebody had come to help her, about thirty minutes after the event. Meaning she had been hit hard. Around her head there were various bruises and she was left lying on the floor.
