She had bruised arms and her left eye was deeply bruised she also had finger marks around her gullet. While her father Bob Ewell failed to bring her to the doctor immediately we were unable to tell if she had been raped. When asked which eye was bruised Heck Tate struggled to say which of her eyes had been bruised.
